~ ~ Hook up your high pressure hose to your pressure vessel prior to hooking up the hose from the oilless compressor or it will make some nice whiny noises. A small hex key and an adjustable wrench does the trick. You have to install a knob, screw, compressor input fitting, and let the spring switch out of the cabinet. ~ ~ I was going to run it in my office to keep it out of the dusty shop, but the Porter Cable compressor is quite loud. At well over a grand for this compressor not counting that it needs a feeder compressor to work its most efficiently you will want to take care of it. I would certainly recommend you read the instructions. I hope it is many many hours before it needs a rebuild at the cost. It came with several sets of replacement o-rings for rebuilds. The instructions show it will take some routine maintenance. Its to eliminate any chance of dieseling detonation in the compressor. I have shop air, but they are very specific to feed it from an oilless compressor. So far I have read the instructions for it, and picked up a $99 Porter Cable 'oil free' pancake compressor to feed it. I actually charged my Xisico BAM-50 using the hand pump so I could shoot some. Its been in my office all weekend, because I have had real work to do. I ordered a 4500 PSI Shoebox compressor last week.
